The region around Málaga produces artfully rustic pottery, which makes a worthwhile souvenir. A handful of highly appealing outlets are scattered throughout the city's historic core. The best include Almazul, Calle Beatas 53 (tel. 95-221-28-43); and Los Artesanos, Cister 13 (tel. 95-260-45-44). Outside the town limits, the most comprehensive collection of ceramics and pottery can be found at La Vistillas, Carretera Mijas, Km 2 (tel. 95-245-13-63), about 2km (1 1/4 miles) from Málaga's center.
